I love when new fabric arrives!

Pretty much everything else stops when the delivery truck rolls in.

This week was no exception.
(Even my son, now on summer break, was eager to see the pretty fabric unpacked.)

Florals dance across the fabric in this latest collection from Studio 8. A chic chevron, watercolor textural print and fixed medallion are distinctive prints that off-set the meandering floral design. On-trend yet classic, the navy, aqua and earthy green palette works beautifully with the watercolor technique.

My son immediately said a quilt for the upstairs living room was on order!  While I have a few other projects in the queue ahead of this one, it has made it’s way to the top 10.

is perfect for those sewing room items or for the handyman in your life.
I think a Contractors Apron would look amazing in this print!

Delaney and Craftsmen Tape Measure are available in the store.

Now for the lipstick…

I’m currently in the middle of a mini-facelift in my kitchen.  A total kitchen renovation is still a few years off; so to curb my urge to tear everything out, I decided to put some lipstick on this pig!

Not bad for two gallons of paint!
I think I can live with this for a couple of years until the real renovation takes place.

Now that the kitchen is updated, I’ll be escaping the summer heat
and heading to my studio to get some of those quilty “makes” off of my “to do” list.

I’ll be happy to share them when I get them done.

Till next time…
Rita
