HOW DO I ORDER MY FABRIC?

From the drop down tab: pick the length of cut you want (1=.5yd / 2=1yd / 3=1.5yd / etc).  Be sure to check your cart totals before checking out.   I sell my fabric by the yard.  Why yards and not metres?  Because… I sew by yards and inches, so I sell by yards.  Hope you understand.  Whenever possible, each piece of fabric in your order will be cut as one continuous piece.

SHIPPING

Shipping rates are as follows:

CANADA
up to $25 order = $4.99
$25 to $100 = $11.99
over $100 = FREE

USA
up to $25 = $8.99
$25 to $100 = $14.99
over $100 = FREE (in contiguous states - extra costs may apply after checkout for HI, AK)

FREE shipping in Canada & USA on orders over $100 before taxes and after discounts.

Domestic packages generally take 3-5 business days to arrive.

US orders generally take 4-9 business days to arrive.

Most International orders take approximately 8-10 weeks to arrive as I send it surface.

FREE LOCAL PICK UP OPTION

If you live close enough to pick up your order, you can choose the “Free Local Pick Up” option, I will send instructions on where/when to pick up your order.  If you are passing through to get your package, and the “Pick Up” option did not appear, email me and I’ll refund you the shipping costs.

LOST or UNDELIVERED PACKAGES

Unfortunately I cannot take responsiblity for undelivered purchases.  Please contact your post office in the event of a non delivery.  You can also contact me and I will assist in any way I can to locate your missing package.  I can not offer a credit or refund in the event of lost or undelivered purchases.

Orders will be processed and shipped within 1-3 days.  Goods shipped outside of Canada may be subject to customs, duties and import fees, which are not included in the shipping fees. Customs forms are filled out with detailed information about your shipments contents and value. You are responsible for charges incurred at customs.  

RETURNS & REFUNDS

I aim to “Please”!  If you are unhappy with your order, for any reason, I will do my best to rectify the problem.  If you choose to return your order, it must be in its’ original packaging and re-saleable condition for a full refund. Postage fees are non-refundable.  Any return shipping costs and extra duty charges are the responsibility of the customer.  You will be refunded after I have received the returned goods.

Please note – I do not accept returns on any sale fabric, fabric that has been cut by the customer or opened pre-cuts, patterns or kits.

Price Adjustments – Fabric Please! is unable to retroactively apply a discount to an order if the order was not placed on the day of the sale.

PRE-CUTS, WHAT ARE THEY?

I sell a variety of pre-cuts including, 2.5” rolls (jelly rolls), 5” squares (charm packs), 10” squares (layer cakes) and Fat Quarter (18″x 21″) bundles and Fat Eighth (9″x 21″) bundles.  Many of these come direct from the manufacturer but I also offer my own bundles and pre-cuts.  Check it out in the Pre Cuts page.

REMNANTS & FQ’S:

Occassionally there is a small bit left on the bolt or a Fat Quarter left over from a sale.  You benefit by being able to buy just a little bit of what you need.

AURIFIL THREAD

I carry a full selection of Aurifil 50wt thread. I am happy to coordinate your thread colours to your fabric purchases. If you don’t see the colour you need, I will order it in asap. I can order different weights and types of thread, email to discuss.

I LIKE TO FEEL MY FABRIC BEFORE BUYING

If you like to pet your fabric before permanently adopting it, email me at info@fabricplease.com and I will send you up to 5 different samples of fabric free of charge.

While every care has been taken to ensure the accuracy of the colours depicted in my images, please be aware that due to monitor resolution, lighting, photo processing software and other factors it is almost impossible to represent colour to 100% accuracy.

WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?

Fabric Please! is an online retailer.  I am located in New Hamburg, Ontario, Canada. If you are local and would like to arrange a time to pick up your order, or just want to come and see the fabric in person (by appointment) emailcs.quiltingbydesign@gmail.com

HOW CAN I PAY FOR MY ORDER (and what about taxes)?

Taxes are calculated based on the customers’ shipping address.  If you are not charged taxes, you do not have to pay.

Fabric Please! uses PayPal as the main payment portal. 

If you prefer to send an e-transfer, you can do so via email.  Just head over to your online banking site and click the tab for making an e-transfer.  Input my email address (cs.quiltingbydesign@gmail.com) and send another email with the privacy code so I can access the money.  For convenience, please set the security answer as FABRIC.

Once payment is received, all orders are processed and shipped accordingly.

COUPONS

If you have a coupon code, use it on the checkout page in the space provided.  The calculator will do the rest!  Proceed to pay as you normally would.

INVENTORY DISCREPANCIES

Unfortunately, sometimes the inventory amount is incorrect. This is because I sell at trade shows and events from my trailer.  The sold inventory at these events may not be immediately updated on the website because it was not sold online. Thank you for your understanding when these instances occur.  If I can not fulfill your order completely, you will be notified via email.
